Amazon is a funny place. What's even more strange is 8 million of the exact same product with different company names, and worst yet, different specifications. Specs for this light was:
*2000 Lumens. (Not possible with this emitter)
*"100% Original CREE XM L2 LED chip, 20% brighter than T6" .(See picture of advertisement then look at my light, bait and switch.) I got the T6 they claimed this was brighter than. See marking on the light bodies?
*They claim
"WATER-PROOF & SMART DESIGN: IP65-rated water proof" This is an absolute, blatant lie. You'll notice this light has a micro USB port on the side, with no cover, additionally I can see daylight around that opening due to poor machining/quality. In the pic below I put a light at the back of the Semlos to shine light up the tube. You can see the light pour out from around the USB port.
So, here is the whole package from Semlos.
You get a manual, lanyard, AAA adapter, tube sleeve for an 18650, and a 2200mAh 18650, and a USB charging cable.
The light does appear to recharge with green/red lights telling you if full, or low.
Since Semlos thinks that it can actually do 2000 lumems, I'll place it up against two light that can can do about half that. The Thrunite TN11S and the Olight M2T Warrior.
The Semlos is a zoom-able light, so for sake of comparison I used the Thrunite for distance, the Olight for flood.
Let the pummeling..er.. test begin!

The battery, so it comes with a Semlos labeled 18650. Of course, at this point my trust with anything about this light is gone. Unwrapping it, it has a plain blue wrapper underneath. No markings. Unwrapping it further to the plain cell, still nothing.
I'll fully discharge and dispose of it.
I do not have my charger yet that can test mAh capacity, if anyone test this cell, please let me know the results.
My final thoughts: Buyer beware.
The light does what it's supposed to do, however, the deception used to sell these things has my trust levels at 0.
I'm not attacking the light, as much as I'm attacking the people selling it.
Throw a (tested safe) 18650 in this thing, or some AAA and use it as a garage, beater light. It'll work. Maybe not very well at all, but it will work. (long term yet to be seen)
And to the companies that market this stuff with fraudulent specs and misleading print? Shame on every one of you. If you have any morals at all.
Readers? Still thinking about that 1Tac? Atomic Beam? Just re-read the above, any questions?
