Weltool T9 "Ever Victorious" Green weapons light review.

Green lights have a solid use in hunting. Especially for wild hogs.
Although I'm not much of a hunter, I am an outdoors-man, and a light guy. That said it takes a bit to surprise me, and this surprised me.

Primarily, this light is to be used on shotguns, long guns. However, if you have exposed barrel, or rails, this light will work for you.
Weltool has available a few mounts.

So, let's talk about the light!

The T9 is a compact form, 18650 based light. It has a broader reflector than a typical 18650 EDC light, in fact this reflector is about the same as  my Fenix TK15UE.
Up front the light sports a stainless bezel, deep reflector, tempered glass lens and a nicely positioned 522nm green LED
The body of the light is solid, nicely machined, and has a very nice anodized finish. The tail cap button is glow in the dark, and has a nice positive click to it.
Tapping the light with an 18650 protected button top does yield a bit of battery rattle, but the light is double springed.
The light is IP67 rated.
The rated output is claimed at: 139lumens; 11715 candela; 216m ( 236.22yards) beam distance. (Per Weltool)
This is a single mode light. You click to turn on, you click to turn off.
Runtime based on that single mode (per Weltool) was 2.8 hours

This light underscores simplicity. In the box you get:
The light.
Spare Oring
Welcome card.
Manual.
Warranty card, build info card.

And that's it.

Simple, right?
Beamshots are what blew my mind. For sake of comparison, I use a Fenix TK15UE and an Olight   M2T Warrior for use as a simple comparison. Enter the arena.

Clip was a spare I had laying around.

You didn't think I'd be easy on the Weltool, did you?

Here's where things took a twist. I had to keep the Fenix and  Olight on high!  I used these lights primarily the Fenix - because of comparative reflector size.

I had no idea I would have to push the lumens to match the Weltool.

So, on we go!

1st round. There's a small 6ft tall Dogwood tree sapling, dead center, about 70t out.

Fenix

Olight

Weltool

So, the Weltool is rated at 139 lumens. The other two lights above are hitting about 1000 lumens, respectively.  The Weltool is very punchy!

Next.

Tree top. Tree is 80ft away, tree top is 65ft high.

Fenix
Olight
Weltool

Again, this light is a solid thrower. For its lumen rating it's very surprising. You imagine this thing at 1000 lumens?   If one is ever made, count me in!

Next.

Tree base, 20ft out.

Fenix

Olight

Weltool

Final thoughts.

I'm impressed by the brightness of this light. I have never seen a sub 200 lumen light throw as well as this light throws.  The color/shade/tint of green used seemed to work well in natural settings.
The fit and finish is good.
I found myself wanting a belt clip and a lanyard. But that's not what this light was designed for. But I'm sure a Convoy type clip would pop right on.

I think Weltool did great with this light, it's bright, and it stood it's ground against a Fenix and an Olight. Well done, Weltool, well done.

If you need a green hunting light, or a green light for your collection. you may want to consider this! It's the T9 from Weltool!
