If it could make a sound, that would be it. The sound of this small weaponlight throwing out a blistering 1500 lumens.
Meet the Valkyrie. And she's got an attitude.
Unlike most lights, this light is made for one thing; to be attached to your firearm, and to highlight, blind, any would be bad guys.
Although I had no weapon to mount this to at the time during this review, I will link you out to the PL-2 Baldr,. the Valkyries slightly meaner brother. Same light in form, except the laser, but gives you a better idea of it mounted.

The led is covered by a TIR optic, with AR glass on the outside.
The optic is what this light is all about. With a firearm, you need a reliable hotspot, and this light will give you just that.
The build quality is typical of Olight.
The finish is impeccable.
The light style itself uses the same shell used on other Olight weapon lights.
Let's look at the pertinents.
300 lumens for 90 minutes, respectively.
One thought, just watch the beamshot video for this thing at 300 lumens. Impressive.
However, the tint.

Note that both lights use the XHP 35 HI led.

This is a powerful light. Gone are days of big lights.
It's form and function combined in a beautifully done package.
I did not like the tint. Tint can be subjective though, I get that.
The IP6 rating, personally, for an item that can see VERY harsh areas, an IP68 rating should be the norm.
But keep in mind, I'm trying to find problems with a light that lacks problems.
